Speech Therapy in Seattle, WA

Seattle is a city of neighborhoods, and the practical reality of getting a child to a Magnolia clinic from Beacon Hill — or back from West Seattle in time for a 5pm session — argues against clinic-based therapy for most of the families we see. We come to your home, on your schedule, in the kitchen, living room, or bedroom where your kid actually does homework or your parent actually takes phone calls.

Our caseload covers Seattle Public Schools and many of the private/independent schools in the city — Bertschi, Evergreen, Lakeside, Seattle Academy, and others — and it’s often deeply multilingual. We don’t assume monolingual English is the goal when a child is growing up in two or three languages, and we don’t treat that as a complication. For adults, we work with referrals from Swedish, Virginia Mason, UW Medicine, and Harborview as well as private neurologists, on aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive-communication changes after stroke or alongside neurodegenerative disease.

How In-Home Therapy Works

Sessions take place where communication actually happens — at the kitchen table, in the car, in the room where homework gets done. Tying goals to your real environment makes the new skills easier to keep using after we leave.

When it's helpful and you've given consent, we coordinate with primary care providers, school SLPs, neurologists, and other members of your care team.
